- Participants are encouraged to also review and bring to the session the article that focuses on Quality Indicators, which aligns with their own draft manuscript. Click Article #1, Article #2, Article #3, Article #4, Article #5 to download.
- Participants should also bring a draft manuscript. It need not be fully developed, but there should be a significant amount written.
Çalıştay Özeti:
In this interactive session, participants will be provided information on ways to increase the chances of getting a manuscript published in American education, special education, and multidisciplinary journals. The discussion will be grounded in a 2013 report from the Institute of Education Sciences, U.S. Department of Education and the National Science Foundation. Additional resources will include articles from the Council on Exceptional Children series on Quality Indicators for research. Other topics will include, (a) identifying where to submit a manuscript and considering Impact Factor; and (b) fidelity of implementation. During the session, participants will have an opportunity to apply their new knowledge and work with a partner to evaluate and revise one of their current manuscripts.
